Good news, Mission of Burma fans- the band is set to release its fourth studio LP, titled The Sound The Speed The Light, on October 6 via Matador. According to the press release, this album is more “spacious” and “dynamic” than its predecessors. New mpfree “1, 2, 3 Party!” makes us think it’s going to sound a lot like Mission Of Burma, plus all that other fun shit just mentioned.

Prior to the album’s release, on August 18 the band will issue a 7” containing 2 non-album tracks: “Innermost” and “Here It Comes.”
