Demonstrating that really, there is no better place for an all-out gun fight than a parched field on the edge of a residential development complex, the Dead Weather’s video for “Treat Me Like Your Mother” (the preview of which was reviewed here) reads like a gangster remake of Edward Scissorhands, minus the garden shears and plus some AK-47s. Alison Mosshart and Jack White, looking as pale as ever, trudge towards each other, engaging in verbal altercations and exchanging gunfire. Once the rounds have expired, however, there’s nothing to do but walk away.
