Mattie Safer Breaks Up With The Rapture

rapture

The Rapture is going through some changes—today we learned via band statement that bassist Mattie Safer is packing his bags and heading out on his own. The statement sounds like a difficult divorce but we think this could be just the catalyst to throw The Rapture, and Safer, into some very different creative waters. Good luck to the lads, and you can catch Mattie Safer with Nick Catchdubs and DJ Lindsey for free on Thursday, July 30 at the Gallery Bar at LPR, doing their always fun, always free Jams party. But we probably wouldn’t bring up the band thing.
