Go Forth And Be Free, Alec Ounsworth!

Apparently ’tis the season for solo projects! First it was Julian Casablancas of the Strokes, and now it’s Alec Ounsworth’s turn to break free from his band Clap Your Hands and Say Yeah. Why not, they’re on hiatus anyway. His first independent effort, entitled Mo Beauty, will be released on October 20th through Anti- Records, and he’s getting by with a little help from his friends: collaborators include George Porter Jr. (Meters), Stanton Moore (Galactic), Robert Walter (Greyboy Allstars), and Al “Carnival Time” Johnson. Check out the tracklist after the jump! (via p4k)
