More news on the Mark Mulcahy tribute album front: now you can listen to Thom Yorke’s cover of “All For the Best” at Stereogum. The electro-fied cover and opening track for the album features Yorke’s younger brother Andy on backing vocals, setting the bar high for the rest of the contributors. All of Ciao My Shining Star: The Songs of Mark Mulcahy will be available September 29th through Shout! Factory, with 20 bonus tracks from other artists to be released digitally. Make sure to pick up a copy, as the proceeds will help Mulcahy raise his twin 3-year-old daughters and continue making music after the sudden and tragic death of his wife.
