Motley Crue Halting Crue Fest, Working on Album

motley

Motley Crue is wrapping up their second Crue Fest early September and says that the band may take a year off from Crue Festing to record an album. According to bassist Nikki Sixx, the band is ready “to start working on writing a new record and looking forward to the next Crue Fest, which’ll probably be in 2011.” What’s new, however, is that there’s a chance Motley Crue won’t be present for the next round of Crue Fest. As Sixx put it, “There have been offers and from suggestions of other bands that were interesting in going out and doing Crue Fest if we didn’t do it.” We shall have to wait and see.  (Via Billboard).
