Third Eye Blind Album Leaks, Stephen Jenkins Strikes Back

thirdeyeblind

Talk about a blast from the past: Third Eye Blind is the latest group to fall victim to the now-customary album leak fiasco. The band’s new album, Ursa Major, was posted online, albeit in a “haphazard” fashion; in response, the group decided to stream the “correct” album with its proper mix and presentation on its MySpace page, also moving up the album’s release date to August 17.

Singer Stephen Jenkins commented on the fiasco, saying: “Wow! I leave the country and my album ends up leaking. I was in Jakarta performing for the fine citizens of Indonesia after their devastating terrorist attack — I can’t speak more highly of the country. I am asking for all those downloaders who illegally downloaded our new album, please donate some money to your local charity. And to those leakers who posted the wrong album, well, shame on you for being lazy. You guys know the lyrics and presentation are important to us. Rock on!”

Do be aware that Third Eye Blind only fights back under the most dire of circumstances. Third Eye Blind is a peace-loving band.
