Neon Indian’s Gear Stolen

neonindian

Beware, future residents of the Residence Inn Marriott in downtown Sacramento: yesterday, Neon Indian lost all of their equipment there, and is looking to recover as much of the stolen gear as possible before an upcoming September tour.

Alan Palomo, the brains behind Neon Indian, posted this list and plea on his MySpace blog yesterday:

If you have any information leading to the finding or replacing of this gear don’t hesitate to contact either my manager Danny (mgmt.vcr@gmail.com) or myself (vega.vcr@gmail.com). Time is of the essense given the VEGA Grizzly Bear show in NYC and the countless touring dates for both Neon Indian and VEGA beginning early September right around the corner so keep your eyes peeled. If you have a blog or know someone to send this off to, please repost. If you’d like to donate any money to help us return home and begin sorting this out you can do so to vega.vcr@gmail.com. Thank you for reading.

The stolen gear is as follows:
Dave Smith Prophet ’08 synthesizer (limited edition signed w/ red LEDs) (w/ flight case)

Death By Audio Super Sonic Fuzz Gun Distortion Pedal

Best of luck to Alan, and to those of you in the Sacramento area, keep your eyes out for an absurd amount of musical equipment.
