Kings of Convenience to Play First U.S. Show in Four Years

We have been telling the late-night ice cream truck driver in our neighborhood that Quiet Is The New Loud for some time now. But if you use this phrase as more of a life credo than a distressed plea for sanity than have we got some news for you: Norwegian-based folk-poppers Kings of Convenience are bringing their gold soundz back to our very own U.S. of A.(more specifically New York City’s Bowery Ballroom) in support of the October 20 release of Declaration of Dependence. The show appears to be a one-off deal and not part of a full tour of any kind, but afters four years Convenience beggars can’t be choosers.

Let’s just hope Montezuma doesn’t have anything to say about it this time around…
