Foo Fighters Finally Releasing Greatest Hits Album

Do you guys realize how insanely overdue this is? Over the past FOURTEEN YEARS, Dave Grohl and the Foos have strung together a DiMaggio-like run of singles, the above video/Mentos goof for “Big Me” no better reminder of how long they’ve been grinding. Just look what people are wearing! Remember when The Colour and The Shape came out a few years later? Or what about the time “My Hero” made watching Varsity Blues pretty awesome for a while? Or the time they soundtracked the lead-in to that early aughties show Ed? Dudes,”Everlong” is going on repeat today. Sorry. Nostalgia fit. The alt-rock lifers are cramming the hits of your formative years into a package that will also include two new songs “Wheels” and “Word Forward.” Chances you’ll remember what you were doing when you hear those for the first time, too.
