Springsteen and E-Street Band Taking Time Off

According to Billboard, Springsteen fans may have to wait a while to see the Boss and his E-Street Band after their current North American tour wraps up this November. Springsteen told European press members earlier this year that his next project will not include E-Street Band Members, leading some to begin suspecting that this year may be the band’s last together. Guitarist Steve Van Zandt insists this has always been the case: “You never know, do ya? It could be the last show, could be the last tour. You never know. We do every show like it’s our last show, anyway. But don’t wait around; if you’re waiting to come see us, come now. This is a good time to see us.” Pretty sure there’s never a bad time to see these dudes, but if you’re worried, remember that they’ve got plenty of dates to go, including the five final shows at Giants Stadium and two nights (Chicago & Nashville) dedicated solely to the beauty that is Born to Run. You still have time.
