Bon-e Iver Plays Sunrise Hollywood Cemetery Gig

boniver

While many folks have used hundreds more words to describe the sound of Bon Iver’s For Emma From Forever Ago, but few more accurate than simply calling it both haunting and beuatiful. This rare combination makes him one of the very few musical artists these days that could make a gig like this fitting, albeit still a decent bit strange. We unfortunately couldn’t make the cross-country trip for the 6 a.m. show (complete with a 2 a.m. showing of Bottle Rocket?), but Stereogum (and others) were there to capture the experience. The videos and the adorable reunion moment are definitely worth a peep. Check the videos out for yourself.
