Alice in Chains back in the day...
Things done changed since 1994. Maybe cars aren’t driving themselves like we thought they would be by now, but those monstrosities that we called cell phones have given way to iPhones, which are probably way more far out than the other stuff we came up with in those future talks back in the day. 1994 was also the last time Alice In Chains had a number one single (”No Excuses”). But hey, look, 1994 and 2009 are currently colliding as the alt-rockers have both an iPhone app and a new number one single (”Check My Brain”). The single comes from their September release Black Gives Way To Blue and the iPhone app (which allows you to stream ‘Check My Brain” and two other tracks, as well as videos, rare photos and updated info on the band) of the same name debuts October 27 in most markets. Whoa! They’re also embarking on a European tour next month. Crazy!
