Starting his own fashion line and releasing a solo album simply isn’t enough for Scott Weiland: the man, who is currently on tour with his band Stone Temple Pilots, has announced that the group will be touring through next year, and plans to release a new album in 2010 as well.
“When we get back [from the band's current tour], we’re going to finish the album,” Weiland told Spinner. “And then when we finish the album, there will be a big tour around its release and that will probably be a long tour.” While he remains unaware of the specifics, Weiland indicated that the tour would last over a year, with a few breaks, after which he plans to record his third solo album.
Dates and album info have yet to be announced, but that information should surface shortly.
