Way back in 2005, this little band from Oslo released a shoegaze record that blew the minds of bloggers and the indie press alike. That band was Serena Maneesh and that album was their self-titled debut. It’s been five years since the band has put out any new material, but that’s all about to change. The band just signed to 4AD and will release a new record come March 2010. Word is pretty mum on what we can expect, but there’ve been talks of an extensive tour with seven dates already announced. Hopefully Kevin Shields hears the news and fast-tracks that new MBV record.
