The xx Lose a Chromosome, But Actually Just a Band Member

TheXX

In late October, blog darlings The xx had to cancel a handful of shows due to exhaustion. However, the whole band wasn’t suffering from fatigue, only keyboardist-guitarist Baria Qureshi. Since the medical malady was announced, the group played a few shows without Qureshi, including last night’s stint at the Bowery Ballroom. Today comes the unfortunate news that the group is now officially a trio, with no plans for Qureshi returning to the fold. No worries for those hoping to see The xx live, as they plan on fulfilling all the their 34,314 touring obligations from here on out.
