Joanna Newsom has recently finished working on her forthcoming album, wrapping up recording in Tokyo with collaborator Jim O’Rourke. As to the album’s release date, no one knows, but in the meantime Newsom is keeping busy modeling for Armani as part of the label’s campaign for United Artists, which also includes Swedish chanteuse Lykke Li. Until know i had always wished she would just go back to her middle earth cave dwelling, harp and all. Now i am not so sure… i’ve got a tingle in the bathing suit area.
