Neil Young Does The Best Thing You Will See Today

Every now and then we get frustrated with the Internet. It freezes or it spams our work e-mail or becomes overrun by pictures of cats dressed as people or something. But then it gives us a video like this that we realize never would have made its way into our lives without the crazy World Wide Web  and we apologize and bow at its footsteps all over again.

We’re not exactly sure what compelled Neil Young to cover “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air” theme song on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.” But frankly, we think it’s better without the context. In reality, it turns into much more of a Fresh Prince meets Heart Of Gold, and that totally works. It’s like if our dad and the President of Nick at Nite played Girl Talk for a day. And it’s pretty great to know under the whole hobo ranch hand get-up and protest songs, dude still has a sense of humor. So bravo Mr. Fallon, we mean Young. And bravo Internet.

And lest we forget, it’s still the Willenium.
