Be advised: Spoon will be invading your headphones slightly earlier than anticipated, having moved up the release date of its forthcoming album, Transference, to January 19 from its original end-of-January release date. Nothing too crazy or worthy of extreme heart palpitations- just enough to get the blood pumping in anticipation of what promises to be yet another stellar album from the group. The first single from the album, “Written in Reverse,” will be released December 1 digitally and on January 5 in vinyl format. The 7″ will also include an exclusive B-side titled “Mean Red Spider.”
