Xiu Xiu Announce New Album, Dear God, I Hate Myself

Taking a break from his work with Los Campesinos, Jamie Stewart has returned to his own band, Xiu Xiu, and will release a new album with the group this February. Titled Dear God, I Hate Myself and featuring a title track composed primarily on a Nintendo DS, the full length will be released on February 15 via Kill Rock Stars. Stewart is joined on the record by new full-time Xiu Xiu member Angela Seo, along with Deerhoof’s Greg Saunier (who helped Stewart produce the album), Ches Smith, and John Dieterich, another Deerhoofer.
