Vampy Weeks frontdudeĀ Ezra Koenig gave SPIN a tour of his Brooklyn quarters recently, supplying them with an up-close look at his guitar, decor, breakfast grub and so, so much more. One flourish stands out above all, though: that nutty oil painting Koenig threw together when he was 13 is said to be inspired by the deep cuts of Kraftwerk. Is it weird that we, as 13 year-olds, were listening to Barenaked Ladies and Alanis Morrisette instead of Kraftwerk? Because if so, this explains SO MUCH.
