Kid Cudi Thinks Vampire Weekend Can Be Hardcore!

VampireWeekendThumbWe have a decent few questions about the just leaked Kid Cudi track “Cudderisback.” One, where did he go? The man’s debut album came out like two months ago and he’s currently the tour opener for the biggest pop star of the moment. Secondly, why is he rapping over a Vampire Weekend song (”Ottoman” from the “Nick & Norah” OST) that even we had basically forgotten about? Finally, was Cudi really rumored to be dating Amanda Bynes? “She’s The Man” was totally our jam too, but…

So yeah, Cudi talks about how haters can suck his thingie for two minutes over “Ottoman” and leaves some of Ezra’s intro vocals in there. It’s not bad, a little weird and he gives no actual stance on ottomans (or any upholstered furniture for that matter.) But he does rap pretty well, which is something you sort of forgot he could do at times during that “record” he put out this year. Check out the song at Hypebeast. (Via: P4K)
