We know. They’re hopeless, right? During their current trek through the UK, the men of Vampire Weekend stopped by the BBC’s Maida Vale studio last week to record a session for Radio 1’s Zane Lowe. Instead of doing their usual, they decided to lay down a relatively polite, delay-smeared cover of Rancid’s “Ruby Soho” instead. You can have a listen over at Abeano right now and while you’re there check out a Minimix the band’s Rostam Batmanglij spliced together for the Annie Mac show. In addition to the 6th’s “As You Turn To Go” and Vampy Week’s “Taxi Cab,” Batmanglij also re-imagined Lykke Li’s very beautiful “Dance Dance Dance.” The Swedes are probably so pissed right now!
