If You Predicted “Zurich, April 2010″ Would be the Setting for Rihanna’s Inevitable Oasis Cover, Then Congratulations?

Yes, it was the song you thought it was. No, we’re not sure why it happened. Yes, this probably means Rihanna and Jay-Z will eventually perform this at some sort of award show or banquet for three minutes and get more money for it than the sum of our college loans. No, the 53 seconds of the performance that made it onto YouTube are not what we would call gripping. But we’re generally pro-Rihanna in these parts, and support her whims to try out glorified karaoke takes on whatever mid-’90s British megahits she wants. In fact, man do we have a Cornershop jam for her to learn for our next house party. Seems more up her alley anyway. (Via: Village Voice)
