them fey. Sharing the same UK label as Belle & Sebastian may lead to certain
stereotypes, but these kids can pick up a guitar with the best of them. Just not on this song.
The trio from Glasgow, Scotland-via-Belfast, Northern Ireland are in a more reflective mood on
this single, a ballady number with a bit of punch come chorus time. The band’s upcoming full
length When It’s All Over, We Still Have To Clear Up is due next week and if the tracks
are as strong as this or “Starfighter Pilot” from their 1998 debut, they’ll be doing Jeepster
proud.
