Black Rebel Motorcycle Club

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club

This three piece formed in 1998 in San Francisco, naming themselves after Marlon Brando’s motorcycle gang in the 1950 movie “The Wild One”. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club are slap in the face to all those who feel rock and roll is dead, or that “alternative rock” doesnít exist anymore, or all music made today is crap. B.R.M.C. peel back traces of The Verve at times, with the sensibility of Love And Rockets or even The Stooges, as they create big production type songs with power and feeling. This band is what cats in the late 70ís would describe as “heavy”, or go as far as saying “far out” after one listen in the dark with headphones.
