These four women would beat the crap out of The GoGo’s and have been to jail more times than any of The Donnas have even been laid. Fabulous Disaster blend wonderful harmonies and melodies, with a fire breathing punk rock attitude, much like a bad case of herpes that has devoured an innocent youth. Pink and Black is based in San Francisco, distributed by Fat Wreck, and is also home to Dance Hall Crashers and other “girl fronted” bands. We first head the Disaster’s Flesh and Bones on the Fat Music Volume 5 disc, and had to go back and find this angst filled girl rock in the pile o’ stuff. This came out back in March but has NO burn on it, unless you decide to sleep with it. Very very melodic punk rock, with splendid female vocals and overtones.
