The Altogether

The brothers Hartnoll have done it again. “It” being a melodic and therapeutic concourse of rapid paced beats and electronic pride. Many exciting and diverse elements appear on The Altogether, an appropriate name if we have ever heard one. “Funny Break” is a gorgeous melody thanks to the pulsating vocals of Naomi Bedford, while “Tootled” offers a respectful tribute to the dark art rockers Tool, as Orbital effectively loop and implement Toolís biggest single to date, Sober, into a scorching number. “Doctor?” features to sci-firific anthem from the best science fiction show ever, Doctor Who, that makes for an exciting yet creepy adventure. Friend to the family David Gray appears on Illuminate, while backing vocals come from Grayís drummer Clune. All in all The Altogether is all right. all good, and all that – much like the stylings of Underworld, or Utah Saints.
