Travis
Sing

Independiente/Epic

Everyone obviously knows how good this band is. If britpop is your thing, you are already head over heels
in love with Travis. And even if it isn’t necessarily your cup of tea, there are still most likely some
tracks you like. The first single “Sing” is not a surprise to anyone, either, as it is already being heard
virtually everywhere. What you probably DON’T know about, however, is their excellent cover of “Killer
Queen” by Queen that hides on CD1 of the UK single for “Sing.” It is a wonderful rendition and
captures the essence of Queen to a T. Ex-Jellyfish man Jason Falkner adds
backing vocals and keyboards to the track, further expanding the Travis sound you already know
and love. Track this down: it must be heard to be believed.
