What a tangled web Kenosha weave. They were initially a quartet called Jonas. Then a
member left and they changed their name to Bueller. The trio attracted the attention of Deceptive
Records head Tony Smith, who most likely sensed a potential lawsuit in the air and convinced the
boys from Leeds to change their moniker again, to Kenosha. Craziness may accompany their name, but
their sound is quite stable. Imagine Pixies riffs with US slacker vocals, a couple of dashes of
Weezer and all the angst and verve of 20 year olds and you’d be about there. Passion is a good
thing…
