Vermont is the sweet sounding side project of Davey von Bohlen and Dan Didier from the Promise Ring along with guitarist / producer Chris Rosenau. Vermont perform 3 songs on the disc and take writing credit for “Old Blue” which is performed by Centro-Matic. “Old Blue” also appears on the Vermont full length. “Lil’ Blonde Hairs” and “What To Do” are new treasures that one should listen to on the dock of the bay with his / her love and admire the sun as it says goodbye for the day. “Say Something / 95 Frowns” was written by Centro but given justice by Vermont. This tough find and confusing record is on Quality Park Records. It came out earlier this year but it’s worth the money and the time spent listening to.
