Talk about bringing the RAWK! These kids from New Zealand rock hard and rock often, and, most often, rock like it’s 1976. They blend the antipodean sounds of AC/DC and the organ heavy acid tones of Deep Purple to provide thirsty ears with the liquid rock they seek. They possess a pretty-ass frontman, Dolf (who was recently voted third coolest person alive by the ever-fickle NME), and a live performance hailed as tighter than a Strokes’ fan’s pants, so this may not be just a fashion-based flash in the musical pan. Or perhaps it will. Only the ticking of the clock will tell. Feel free to check it out for yourself.
