Sahara Hotnights got their start in (where else) a small Swedish town where its four members were all neighbors. Since childhood, Maria, Jennie, Johanna, and Josephine have been inseparable, forging the foundation for one of the tightest rock bands you’ve ever heard. In 1999, after a series of EP releases, the amazingly gorgeous girls of Sahara Hotnights dropped their debut album through NYC indie label Jetset in the form of C’mon Let’s Pretend. They followed that up in 2002 with the US release of Jennie Bomb, an album that really established the group as one of the top female rock acts in the world. It didn’t take long for RCA to take notice and snatch them up. Sahara Hotnights’ major label debut, Kiss And Tell is going to bring these girls to the next level. Their tour with the Hives this summer might help them out just a bit as well. “Hot Night Crash” is the first single and it’s Mexican rodeo-themed video rules. There really aren’t any bad tracks on this record, but some other stand outs are “Who Do You Dance For?”, “Walk On The Wire” and “Difference Between Love And Hell.”
