The Beastie Boys’ 1992 record Check Your Head became a milestone in the groups career. Reintroducing live instrumentation into the trio’s sound, it has become a must-have album for any music collection. So it only makes sense that seventeen years after it’s original release, the classic album has been remastered and reissued as a 4 LP set with extra B-Sides added into the mix. At last, the Lollapalooza rumors are put to rest — Depeche Mode, Tool, The Killers, Beastie Boys, Kings of Leon and (of course) Jane’s Addiction will be headlining this year’s festival, along with an impressive cast of supporting bands, Lollapalooza organizers confirmed today.

The line-up for San Francisco’s second annual Outside Lands Music & Arts festival has been announced. The three-day festival will take place in late August at the Golden Gate park, and headliners include Pearl Jam, Beastie Boys, M.I.A. Dave Matthews Band, and… Tom Jones. (If that’s not enough to make you want to go by itself, than we don’t know what to tell you.)
