
Via the band’s website, Anton Newcombe’s BJM vehicle has announced a date for the forthcoming New Year’s Day release of Who Killed Sgt. Pepper? Judging by that title, it will probably sound like something you’ve already heard before, as fetishized, reheated and filtered through the braincanals of well, Newcombe. Take that as you will. Streaming for the moment as well is “Tempo 116.7 (Reaching for Dangerous Levels of Sobriety)” a forgettable cut from their Smoking Acid EP, one that somehow escaped our radar this year.
