Calvin Harris probably has some pretty sweet headphones. Most folks that know how to make people dance also seem to know how to purchase sweet DJ accessories. I mean sure, his music is meant to be blasted in clubs and rooftops dance parties and basements much more so than confined to headphones, but music has to start somewhere right? And we feel like Cal would agree sometimes the best parties are just you and your headphones anyway. So here’s the deal. Check out this clip of Calvin’s “I’m Not Alone.” Write us a haiku about the sad bear in the video, Calvin himself, what a Calvin Harris/Dizzee Rascal lovechild would really sound like or who really created disco in the comments section of this same post. The best/funniest wins a sweet pair of 33 1/3 Eskuche headphones. Begin viewing/haiku’ing now…
Technology is moving in leaps and bounds, and this latest development benefits fans of electronic music and bikini-clad models alike. In this video, electronic musician Calvin Harris paints the hands and feet of fifteen young ladies as well as his own with electrically charged paint, and then organizes their clapping and stomping to produce a perfect rendition of his single “Ready for the Weekend.” The first ever “humanthesizer” not only works beautifully, it ain’t bad to look at either, seeing as how all of the models are half naked. You’re welcome. (via Gizmodo)

Though his first episode features American Idol judge Simon Cowell and British money mogul Philip Green via phone, Harris promises in-the-flesh guests soon, Katy Perry even volunteering her skills for the series. What a friend.
Back in January Calvin Harris released the first single from his second studio LP, “I’m Not Alone”, offering up the first remix himself the day he posted it on his MySpace music player. Now, though, time has passed and others have taken their turn at the the mixing table, including someone you may have heard of — Deadmau5. Read the full story
Upon first listen Calvin Harris‘ voice, a picture of a tall, thin, 25-year-old with a boy-like smile is probably the last image that would come rushing into your head, but don’t let his deep, dance-tronic voice fool you on his new track “I’m Not Alone”. Read the full story
