
As writers of a music blog that is loosely attached to a music magazine we hold near and dear to us, our hearts can’t help but be a little warmed when we hear that a fallen comrade in the music magazine world is relaunching. And so when we heard Vibe was coming back in print form next year, we were totally amped for those dudes. But something about the idea that these folks must have had many, many meetings with buzz words like “new focus” and “redirection” and “getting back to our readers,” and then selected the poster boy for their first issue back in the public eye to be one Chris Brown, seems, well, not quite like the vibe we would be going for on such a mission. Hes baaaacck. Chris Brown was sued in Los Angeles County Superior Count on Wednesday by photographer Robert Rosen. According to the LA Times, Brown, who’s already facing possible prison time for assaulting former girlfriend Rihanna, was shooting hoops at an LA Fitness gym in Universal City when the altercation occurred on March 13.
