Our editor loves when it comes to light that crooners and folk anti-heroes share his punk rock roots. So when we caught wind that Bill Callahan — whose second solo LP I Wish We Were An Eagle comes out on April 14 via Drag City — named one of his songs after an old hardcore record, we wanted to share it. But really, this is just an excuse to highlight two great posts we saw on the former Smog, including the album standout track “Eis Ma Clack Shaw”.
