
As announced through their myspace, Yeasayer is hitting the road for a few dates with Ponytail to and from the Pitchfork Festival in Chicago this weekend. See the dates below and make sure you open your ears as wide as possible because Yeasayer will be jamming out some new songs “in one shape or form.”

Furthering upon this relationship, and yet another example of the family ethos that exists within the Baltimore music community, Papich’s boutique label Wildfire Wildfire will be putting out Wong’s first solo LP, Seasons.

We haven’t spoken about them for a while, because they just live in our consciousness because we always assume this hard working band will always come touring around. So it should come as no surprise that Baltimore’s Ponytail, kicked off another North American tour over the weekend in Washington DC. The band will be on touring throughout the greater U.S. until the end of May, when they will have the last show of the two-month stint at The Ottobar in their hometown.
