Ryan Adams Says Courtney Love Is Confused And Lies? Whaaaat?

ryanadams

It’s sad people rarely stop to acknowledge all the good Twitter/MySpace has done for the world. And by “good” we really mean weird and by “world” we really mean rock writers. Folks used to have to interview Courtney Love to get crazy-ass quotes. Now they’re just one lazy click away. Strange times we live in.

Anyway, over the past year Love has used both Internet mediums to berate Ryan Adams for a number of things, namely being owed a ridiculous lump sum for paying for the production of his Rock n Roll album and regretting “very safe sex with him.” Well Adams has gone old school on her with a response, releasing a statement to Gawker through his publicist responding to the many varied accusations in one clean paragraph with no ridiculous tangents, misspellings or exclamation. We didn’t even know people still did that. Says Adams…

“I have never had any romantic, personal or financial involvement with Courtney Love. She is confusing me with her ex, who produced my Rock n Roll record, which was financed solely by Universal Music.”

The end? Yeah, probably not. (Via: Gawker)

Kid Rock Calls Twitter “Gay”

kidrock

According to Rolling Stone, Kid Rock isn’t a fan of Twitter:

“It’s gay. If one more person asks me if I have a Twitter, I’m going to tell them, ‘Twitter this [bleep], mother[bleep]er.’ I don’t have anything to say, and what I have to say is not that relevant. Anything that is relevant, I’m going to bottle it up and then squeeze it onto a record somewhere.”

There’s a silver lining in there somewhere.

Calvin Harris Brings Jam To YouTube

calvinpurple

Scottish electrotwiddler and very tall guy Calvin Harris is starting a new series on his YouTube channel entitled “Jam TV.” Born out of frustration of an experience of his own being filmed whilst unable to open a jar of the sweet stuff, Harris has decided to film celebrities doing the deed. (You can read about Harris’s pleas for more upper body strength on his Twitter.)

Though his first episode features American Idol judge Simon Cowell and British money mogul Philip Green via phone, Harris promises in-the-flesh guests soon, Katy Perry even volunteering her skills for the series. What a friend.

Peep the first episode here.
