Fever Ray – “If I Had A Heart”

Aside from her work with The Knife, how could you not love a musician who lists Tomahawk, Miami Vice and Fugazi as her top three influences?

Directed by Andreas Nilsson, this beautifully creepy, and fitting video for the Fever Ray [Karin Dreijer Andersson of The Knife] single “If I Had A Heart” (to be released as a 7′ and to be appear on her forthcoming self-titled debut) is a practice in long, drawn out uncomfortable passages. While there is plenty to look at visually (and it is stunning to say the least), like the song itself, the real beauty lies within the tension it creates.
